Pomegrante Coconut Sweet Potato

Sweet potatoes are one of my top 5 favorite foods. I would say I eat one at least every other day. Since I've been on a cookie kick, I thought I should try to distract myself with something equally as tasty. Sweet Potato with pomegranate seeds and coconut milk Inspired by Whole Living 1 sweet potato (or two tiny ones) 1/4 cup light coconut milk 1/8 cup of pomegranate seeds Bake sweet … [Read more...] about Pomegrante Coconut Sweet Potato

A Just in Case Race

Today, I ran my 9th New York Road Runner's race of the year the Joe Kleinerman 10k. It was the first super cold run of the year. The temperature was 30 degrees with a windchill of 21. BRRR!! And this is a blog, not a sentimental look at how running gave me hope. However, this … [Read more...] about Redemption On the Run

Behind the Scenes with New Balance

Yesterday afternoon, I headed to Pier 54 for a behind the scenes look at New Balance's upcoming advertisement campaign and to learn about new products that will debut in 2011. It was a beautiful, crisp fall day in NYC. As night began to fall spotlights shined onto the faux track and Team New Balance got to work in the chill of the night. A helicopter flew overhead to capture NYC in all … [Read more...] about Behind the Scenes with New Balance

How to Find the Perfect Running Shirt for Winter, Spring & Fall

It's been said that all you need in order to go for a run is a good pair of sneakers. I beg to differ. The colder it gets outside the more stuff one needs to comfortably run outdoors. With winter like temps in the air this week, I've been wearing more of my cold running weather gear. Workout clothes can be expensive but if you follow these tips you'll only need one or two long-sleeved tops for … [Read more...] about How to Find the Perfect Running Shirt for Winter, Spring & Fall
