Gratitude is in abundance.
I truly have so much to be thankful for this year on Thanksgiving. I consider myself a fortunate soul to have a career, community and family that I love dearly. In no particular order I’m sharing with you the things I’m most thankful for when it comes to running (since this is a running blog after all).
#1) My legs: for carrying me through many miles and giving my mind, body and soul the ability to fly.
#2) My lungs: for their ability to take in deep breaths when I need them most.
#3) My heart: for beating and being the keeper of my my deepest desires and dreams.
#4) My community: the lulus, the runners, the cheerleaders, the people I stalk on twitter who inspire me and you.
#5) My clients: for their relentless pursuit to chase goals and trust in our partnership.
#6) My Physical Therapist: Mike at Finish Line is truly a God send. I wouldn’t have been able to run races at all this year without his expertise.
#7) My Husband: For putting up with me, listening to every mundane detail about marathon training and continuing to do so until I retire my Brooks.
Great list, Jess! Whenever I run, I remind myself it’s a privilege not a right that I have a body that’s capable of running and working out on a regular basis. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving! 🙂
Simply put and beautifully said. Happy Thanksgiving!
Nicely said, Jess! On another note, I may have to get in touch with your physical therapist!
Mike is the best!!
Great list Jess!
You happen to be someone for whom I’m thankful! x
Aw, I’m thankful for you too! xxo
