Thank you for all of your kind words and support! I’m feeling much better a week post-Richmond. I’m ready to ease back into a training plan. I have some ideas about what my upcoming races will be and I’m certain of my goals.
Normally, I’d probably wait a little while but I’ve had a lot of rest the past month. My legs are ready and so is my mind. If my legs and mind start to disagree with me then I’ll back off.
This morning I ran a race with a client of mine, who hasn’t ran a race in more than ten years. Her nervous excitement was contagious and it was an honor to experience this race with her. It reminded me that no matter what your goal or your fitness level, you have to keep pushing onward until you reach it.
I’m hungry and ready to push on towards my goals.
Workout plans for the week:
- Four runs: total mileage goal 25 miles
- Two core/ strength workouts
- One Spin
What are you workout goals for the week?

Let us know which marathon you decide to run, Jess! I have a few runs scheduled this week, plus a Thanksgiving Turkey Trot of course. 🙂
