{If you’re new to SIDI here’s some info: At the beginning of each week on FCITC “Say it, Do it” is a chance for us to commit to our workouts for the week by saying them out loud here and keeping each other accountable.}
This week I’m packing up my gym bag to try out a new to me workout. It’s been quite some time since I’ve checked out a new class.
Last week turned into a step back week in my current training plan. It was week five of marathon training and my body was feeling it. Tuesday’s tempo run was much harder than it should have been. That run coupled with a snow storm and my inability to run on a treadmill meant it was the perfect week to throw my SIDI out the window and go with a new plan.
Step back weeks are like rest days and tapering, necessary evils. Anyone else agree?
Workouts for the Week:
- Monday: Soul Cycle
- Tuesday: Tempo Tuesday (of course!) & Strength
- Wednesday: easy miles coaching Run Club
- Thursday: Mile Repeats & Strength
- Friday: REST or Spin
- Saturday: 15 mile long run
- Sunday: 7 miles at an easy pace
