Motivation for the Long Run

Thinking about meeting up with a group of runners for a training run at 6:30AM on a Saturday may not excite me, but this video gives me the motivation to eagerly wake-up at the crack of dawn tomorrow morning.

confession time: about 2 weeks ago i sat on my couch and watched no less than 2 hours of nyc marathon related you tube videos. this was one of them and totally reminded me how brooklyn was the BEST section of the marathon. first ave was practically dull compared to all the energy in brooklyn! *i’ll share the other notable vids as marathon gets a little closer 🙂 76 days – ahhhhhh

There are so many good ones! I have to admit they make me a little emotional.

That’s so awesome! Ok, so here’s my confession, I actually don’t like all the music and bands. Sure, the crowds are ok and motivating for a couple of miles but I personally don’t need that kind of encouragement so early in the race and would prefer to run in silence (just me and my thoughts). But apparently I’m alone in this 😉
