Wow, this really makes me wish I had a spring half in the cards! Any chance you and Abby will run a training program for a fall 2013 13.1? I’d definitely be interested! 🙂

Hi! I’m running my first half on 3/23 and plan for the NJ half to be my second. I’ve been agonizing for weeks over whether to get a coach. This may be just what I need. Do you have a max pace in mind? I’m a running newbie with a pace of about 12min/mile and I don’t know if I could keep up with the group.

Everyone will be at different paces. I’m not sure there’s a way to predict what paces people will be running at until after we meet. However, no one gets left behind. Everyone runs at their own pace!

Hi Jess – any recommendations for the best books on nutrition for runners? I’m really looking for something science/research-based. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hmm… good question. I generally read more general nutrition books and honestly haven’t come across any great ones for runners that are science based.
