Bari + Zella: Fitness and Fashion

Last night, I had my first experience with the failure that is apple maps. I had heard negative things about it, but honestly didn’t believe it to be true. That was until last night when I almost got frostbite walking around in circles in Soho trying to get to treasure & bond for the Bari + Zella Fashion and Fitness Event.

Luckily, my dates for the night had some shopping to do. If you aren’t familiar with treasure&bond, it’s a Nordstrom-owned shopping experience were 100% of the profits after-cost go to people in need. The concept combines shopping with philanthropy, which I think is pretty amazing!

Last night they hosted a fashion show featuring Nordstrom’s fitness apparel line, Zella.

Prior to the main event Bari Studio hosted a workout session. Sadly, I missed the workout due to work (not getting lost following apple maps). I did however get to check out some of the great looking and wallet-friendly pieces from the collection.

There were several items that stood out to me, but the Mandy Strappy Camisole really caught my eye.

I didn’t end up purchasing anything, because quite frankly I need to add more items to my wardrobe that aren’t for sweating,  but would certainly go back to shop the collection the next time I’m in need of new workout gear.

I recommend checking it out the next time your in Soho this winter. There’s some unique items in sold in the store and something from the Zella collection could be the perfect thing to spice up your winter workout wardrobe.

Disclaimer: I was not compensated for this post. I received a gift bag at the event.

We’re going to have to make our way over to SoHo and check out the collection! I’m loving the colored tights they have online though

I’m so glad you posted this, because for some reason I thought Treasure & Bond was only a pop-up store (I went when they first opened). Now I know, I can go back to shop some more! 😉 Thanks for the tip on Zella, too. Sometimes I feel like I’m just a walking advertisement for Lululemon…

I need to add more non workout stuff as well, but I have a major problem. No thanks to folks like Lulu:)

    PS – cute, cute photos!
