If you are running a fall race and haven’t started to work on training your brain, now is the time!
This workout will help you visualize success as you complete a challenging interval workout. For the workout run each interval a little bit faster than the last. For example:
- Interval 1: Run at 75% effort
- Interval 2: Run at 80% effort
- Interval 3: Run at 90% effort
- Interval 4: Run at 95% effort
Since it’s never too early to train your brain during a training cycle, you can do this workout at any point in your plan after you have gained experience doing speedwork.
