True story: I first learned about Lululemon from a male client. He was a Brit who happened to marry a Canadian. He moved to Canada and lived near the very first Lululemon before moving to NYC. Every single thing he wore to the gym was Lulu.
I remember going into the Lincoln Center store on the Upper West Side when it opened. I wasn’t looking for love, per say but they say those kind of things happen when you least expect it.
Over time that “love” has grown from an obsession to feelings of connectedness. On a long run with Abby recently, I told her I love coaching Run Club because I don’t have colleagues per say and these people (the runners & the people who work at the store) are my people.
Last night when we came back to the store after Run Club, I was greeted with this:

As someone who is never ever surprised, I was speechless. I didn’t actually know what to do with myself and my eyes filled up with tears so all I could think is “don’t cry, don’t cry” instead of simply screaming “YES!”
I’m excited and flattered to join the team of amazing Ambassadors and E.66th Street family. I can’t wait to see what we cook up for the community. Stay tuned!
Congratulations, Jess!
