Say it, Do it! {last week of 2011}

{If you’re new to SIDI here’s some info: At the beginning of each week on FCITC “Say it, Do it” is a chance for us to commit to our workouts for the week by saying them out loud here and keeping each other accountable.}

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend full of good cheer and good health! I decided to give myself a gift in the form of a break from technology. I think I tweeted once in two days. Considering the fact that I use hash tags in text messages and emails, I’d say I needed it.

Also, life was insanely busy for the month of December (as I’m sure it was for most of you as well). My desk is normally all nice and neat.

But for the past month it’s looked more and more like it’s been ransacked by thieves.

Luckily a few days off from work, a little sleep and some much needed time relaxing, it’s back to it’s normal state. I really needed that break!

A break can do a girl some good!

SIDI is late this week, but hopefully you’re already committed to jumping back in the game after the holiday week and before the New Year begins! I know I’m 100% back in the game of healthy eating and working towards my new fitness goals.

Here are the workouts, I’ll be needing to stay accountable to this week:

  • Today: Soul-Cycle
  • Tuesday: 4 mile run
  • Wednesday: Physique 57
  • Thursday: 4 mile run
  • Friday: Either strength training or off
  • Saturday: Emerald Nuts New Year’s Eve Run
  • Sunday: Off

How was your weekend and what is your SIDI plan of attack for the last week of 2012?

    I had a very lazy weekend. Verrrrrry. I did workout Saturday, but Sunday did not leave the couch. Except to get food. Needless to say, I am ready to get back on track:
    M: Refine
    Tu: Refine
    W: Refine+ Run
    H: Refine
    F: Run + Phish Yoga
    Sa: Refine (run there if feeling up to it)
    Su: OFF

    Aaah sometimes an unplugged weekend is just what we need! I ate too much, per usual, but I’m not going to sweat it. I’ve decided after the first of the year, I’m locking down and getting serious for 1/28/12 and 2/9/12 so if I want to eat a little garbage this and next weekend, it’s ok. I’ve been a good girl this year.
    Monday – 4 mile run (5, done!)
    Tuesday – CF Yoga
    Wednesday – 5 mile run (not allowed to cut down to 4 just because I did 5 today
    Thursday – CF Yoga
    Friday – Core Fusion
    Saturday – 8.5 mile run
    Sunday – should be a rest day, but I may do Core Fusion Yoga dvd if I feel like I need to.

    I did workout some this weekend but I think I canceled their effects with the amount if food I consumed. Oh well. There’s always next week!

    Yeah, I can’t really say that I’m sad Christmas is over, and that the holidays are winding down. The years go by so fast, it iwll be back again before we know it!

    My week’s plan is as follows;

    Today: Elliptical for 40 minutes and yoga for 15

    Tomorrow: Outside run

    Thursday: elliptical and lift

    Friday: Elliptical and lift

    Saturday: POWER yoga!

    Yes, Jess, the holiday time can be too crazy! I have already started into my week with great cardio & weights & stretching – both dynamic & regular….. core work of course!

      I’m a terrible skier, but I’m still jealous of your week of skiing!

    I started yesterday with getting back on track with healthier food options. I’m feeling under the weather so I hope to get one run in on the 31st and one in on the 1st. Starting small this week 🙂
