#1) This song is stuck in my head:

I played Run-DMC in class today and I might have been the only one to appreciate it. I suppose sometimes that happens when your the oldest person in the room.

#2) I once played Vanilla Ice in spin class because I thought it would be fun. I expected at least one person to smirk or smile but I was wrong.

#3) I still wish the Olympics were still going on.

#4) I wish I had a tween to take shopping at ivvivia on the Upper West Side (Lululemon’s store for kids).

I still went in to the showroom on opening day last month despite the fact that I had no one to shop for. Call me a luluaddict.

Tell me something random.

Would you at least be slightly amused if your spin instructor played Vanilla Ice?

Thanks! I just downloaded this song- it made me smile! Something, random I can’t wait for cool fall temps as I been obsessed w/ yoga pants and those cool sweater shirts w/ the loose, baggy neck lines that appear to be popular this year. I can just see me enjoying pumpkin flavored coffee w/ yoga pants & a fun collared sweater after a beautiful fall run. 🙂

I would love to hear this, or Vanilla Ice, despite being born in 1988. Also, that video is hilarious!

As for something random… when I’m really into a book, I read it while walking. I recently finished Life of Pi while walking 20 blocks home from law school. I haven’t hit anyone yet!

I would be amused. Particularly because I saw him perform live in high school – at that point he had moved on to his heavy/death metal phase. At a teeny venue. Not sure how many people had every actual heard his music from that phase, or just showed up because…

Something random and pertaining to this post, I sing Ice Ice Baby in my head ALL the time and sometimes I break out into song when I don’t think anyone can hear me.

I would definitely smile. But then again, I like to smile. It’s my favorite.

Would love Vanilla Ice in spin class. The best one so far has been Baby Got Back, but I’m not sure the undergrads had the appropriate appreciation.

I STILL wish the Olympics were going on too.

We definitely have the same taste in music.

We just got an ivvivia store too, but I have 6 nieces so no shopping for them there is going to happen.

Thought I’d respond to this old post…
If you are petite, the ivivva tights and pants are comparable to lululemon. I don’t mind wearing kid’s clothes, plus they are cheaper. The pants and tights are reversible so the logo doesn’t show. I’m just under 5′ and weigh 100#, the size 12 tight is about 3″ too long. I haven’t tried a size 10- no store in town. I’d say if you are 5’3″ 115#, give them a try!

I’d love to take our spin class! I listen to Beastie Boys channel on Pandora when I’m in the gym or running. Both of those songs pop up on it. My spin instructor plays a lot of trance music. You really get into the zone!
