My personal best: Walking a 5K with friends. I signed up for a 10K with a large group and then killed my ankle. Through PT I was given the okay to walk the 5K so I sucked it up and went. I beat my personal walking best and had a blast with several friends who walked the 5K with me after they ran the 10K.

Probably crossing the finish line at my first half in March. Even though I went on to complete a full, that half changed me and confirmed the fact that I LOVE running and wanted to cross a million more finish lines in my life!

Getting my jacket at the Will Run For Beer Series final race, and getting a PR in the 5k to boot! 🙂

Finishing the Richmond Marathon, faster than I expected, a week after not finishing the NYC Marathon!

Finishing my very first race – ever – the Brooklyn Half in May. People told me I should try shorter races for my first but I was dead set on the idea that I wanted to do a distance that I didn’t know I could do. Crossing that finish line made me feel like I could do anything at all!

My biggest moment was finishing my ninth NYRR qualifying race making me eligible for the NYC marathon next year!
