2011 has had a whole lot of sparkle and I think some of that is because I’ve had some memorable moments with a few stars.
I tripped over my two left feet in a La Blast class taught by Dancing with the Stars hottie, Louis Van Amstel at Crunch.
I got my butt kicked by former Biggest Loser trainer, Brett Hoebel at 24 Hour Fitness. (read his tips & tricks for getting over the road blocks that get in the way of your fitness goals here).
I went for a run in Central Park with Ellie Goulding and one hundred other people for Fashion’s Night Out at Niketown.
I rocked out to this playlist with Olivia and Hannah from season 11 of the Biggest Loser.
During marathon week, Subway, hosted a lunch with Jared and Olympic gold medalist, Apollo Anton Ohno. Unfortunately marathon week was crazy busy and I never got around to writing about our lunch date. However, one of the most interesting things Apollo said was that no matter what he decides to do for the next Olympic games he will forever be a runner. He also ran an impressive first NYCM finishing in 3:24:25 and raising over $26,000 for the special Olympics.
During marathon week Theodora and I ran 3 miles with Olympic marathon runner Ryan Hall. He was nice enough to walk along side us while we ran (I’m kinda just kidding).
I didn’t actually get to speak to Cheryl Burke or Rob Kardashian at the Ideology launch party, but I figure we were at the same party so it’s almost an encounter, right??
Lastly, just this past month I got to sit down and chat with Karina Smirnoff, a passionate professional dancer on Dancing with the Stars, who’s enthusasiam will inspire anyone to choose a career they love.
