6 Items to Try That Could Enhance Your Summer Training

NewFavsFCITC

1) Juice Beauty  SPF 30 Oil-Free  Moisturizer – because we all forget to put on sunscreen from time to time and we like using products that are good for us!

2) Ultimate Jacket from New Balance: It’s lightweight making it perfect to wear for cool mornings before warming up. I’ve been wearing it nearly every morning on my way to my 6am clients.

3) Believe I Am Race Day Tattoos:  Seeing is believing. Wear one of these during your next goal race or training run to remind yourself to take joy in every moment… even the ones that make us want to cry or scream.

4) Ipod Shuffle: Downgrade from an ipod or iphone to this smaller, less expensive device and you won’t have to worry about how to carry your music with you on the run (It stayed clipped on my shorts for an entire 26.45 mile run)!

5) 2XU Compression Performance Run Sock: more on these later!

6) Quadballer: This hurts so good! If you’re looking for something a little more intense than your average foam roller, this is the roller for you.

Disclosure: I received items number 1 and 2 at media events I recently attended.

So glad you like it. Apparently Juice Beauty is going to be on Ruelala today.

I’m a BIG fan of the iPod shuffle for races. It’s extremely light, doesn’t fall off, and it’s easy to skip songs and raise or lower the volume. Love it!

Do you find the compression socks to work better than the sleeves? I’ve been running in sleeves, but I wonder if socks feel any different.

Ok, I want more on those compression socks. I’m definitely coming back! I think I may need them but I’m not sure…..
