Half Marathon Coaching Plan Giveaway

Happy New Year!

One of my goals for 2014 is to help even more runners meet their goals! One way I plan on accomplishing this is by offering more Race Pace Wellness coaching options in 2014.

Today, I’m introducing a new half marathon coaching plan. This new plan will allow you to achieve your goals in an affordable, yet 100% personalized way. With this coaching option you’ll receive the following:

  •  An 8-10 week customized training plan based off your run/health history, number of days per week you prefer to run and other factors.
  • A plan that includes strength training and rest days so you don’t have to figure it out for yourself.
  • One 30-minute phone call at the halfway point of your plan to review your training log.
  • One training plan update (after the training log review call)
  • One 30-minute race strategy session (over the phone)
Total Cost: $125

I will be running a local Half here in SC called Run Hard Columbia. It is a pretty decent course with some hills that I have run part of before but would really love to better my time and set a new Half PR. Gotta get in some more speed work and hill training.

I am running the Nike Women’s Half Marathon in DC on April 27. This will be my second half and while yes, I have completed a half marathon, my goal time of 2:15 did not happen. In fact I didn’t cross the finish line until 2:29:30. I would LOVE to have some assistance in my training and a plan that holds me more accountable to do the training runs needed to achieve my goal.

I’m running the Carlsbad Half Marathon on January 19th. I may be running the Garmin Half Marathon in April with my dad (tentative because he is recovering from injury). If that falls through, I’m going to run the La Jolla Half Marathon in April and finish out the year with America’s Finest City Half Marathon to complete a “triple crown”.

What an awesome give away! I singed up for my first 1/2 marathon on April 6. Its called the Fools Duel in Gloucester MA! I would love to win this… I am getting nervous even about training ha-ha.

This would be soooooooooooooo awesome to win! I live in South Africa and am doing the Pietermaritzburg half marathon at the end of February. So far I’m on a good 7kms and have been steadily increasing it by a 1/2km every week. Feeling so good and am so determined to get this goal this year! Bring it on!!!
